In 2011, a pastoral pronouncement was made setting aside the third Sunday of the month for the youth of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide.
It was also explicitly stated that the youth were to conduct the service, make the announcements, preach the sermon, and perform other duties during the service on the third Sunday of every month.
While some parishes of the fold complied and implemented the declarations of that pastoral pronouncement to the letter, others are yet to comply.
His Eminence, Reverend E.M.F Oshoffa, Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, therefore seizes this opportunity to reiterate that all parishes of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide MUST set aside the third Sunday of every month for the youth of the fold.
In addition, His Eminence, Reverend E.M.F Oshoffa, Pastor and Spiritual Head, C.C.C Worldwide, hereby declares that, going forward, a SPECIAL COLLECTION must be raised, alongside other regular collections, on the third Sunday of the month for youth development.
On that day, the youth are to serve as Service Conductor, Announcer, Sermoner, Interpreter, et al.
This SPECIAL COLLECTION does not belong to the parish but must be paid into the account of the C.C.C Youth and Education Development Committee as highlighted below:
