
Region F of the USA National Diocese has successfully concluded its 2026 Shepherds and Church Workers Retreat.
The Retreat, held at the Celestial Church of Christ, Columbus Cathedral in Columbus, Ohio, USA, on Friday,13th March to Sunday,15th March, brought together shepherds, church workers, and ministry leaders from across the region for a period of spiritual renewal, prayer, and leadership development. The Retreat centered on the theme, “The Divine Call” which was drawn from 1st Samuel 3: 1-10.
The event was led by the Head of Diocese, V/S/
E Olaitan Balogun, the Regional Supervisor, V/S/E Prophet Remi Ogunmefun and other senior church leaders and ministers, who provided spiritual guidance through teachings and exhortation messages that emphasized spiritual sensitivity, obedience and readiness to respond to God’s calling.
In his address, V/S/E Olaitan Balogun encouraged participants to remain attentive to God’s voice and be committed to service, emphasising that obedience and humility are essential to effective ministry.

A special session, led by the Secretary General of the Diocese, Prophet Abimbola Shogunle of C.C.C Blood of Jesus Parish, focused on the role of women in ministry. He emphasized the need to empower women as vital contributors to evangelism, spiritual leadership, and the overall growth of the church.
A/V/S/E Moses Sobowale from Celestial Church of Christ, Prince of Peace Parish 3, Chicago talked about knowing our Identity in Christ while the Host Shepherd and Tri State Supervisor (Ohio, Detroit, and Missouri), A/V/S/E Amos Ojerinde, underscored the importance of understanding purpose in ministry, noting that service in God’s vineyard is a divine calling that requires clarity and dedication.
Participants also engaged in intensive prayer sessions, scriptural teachings, and leadership workshops designed to strengthen both spiritual and administrative capacity. These sessions were facilitated by Prophet Tobi Joshua of Celestial Church of Christ, Ase Oluwa Parish 2, Cleveland, Ohio, USA.
The Regional Head, V/S/E Prophet Remi Ogunmefun, expressed appreciation to the Head of Diocese, all invited ministers including the Media Director of the USA National Diocese, A/V/S/E Joseph Awobiyi, as well as the organizers and all participants for their contributions to the success of the retreat.
The program concluded with a thanksgiving service on Sunday, featuring choral ministrations and it was announced that the year 2027 Retreat of the Region will hold at Celestial Church of Christ, Mountain of Light Cathedral, Detroit Michigan. All attendees departed spiritually refreshed.
